Classic 80s dancehall that kicks off the eponymous album, re-released on the Basic Replay imprint in 2006. This was a reggae record so good it even got the too-cool-for-school Boomkat mob drooling uncontrollably. It’s hard to locate much information about the artist – even All Music’s exhaustive database sheds no light (the only White Mice there are a scary looking grindcore outfit. They’ve also got White Tiger, White Lion, White Pigs and even a White Duck) but this is vintage dancehall, from that golden mid 80s period where the strains of 70s roots consciousness could still be heard on these solidly digital numbers. You’d have to have your feet nailed to the floor not to move to this one.
